During our week in Apriki, we witnessed 863 recorded salvations, 1442 people treated through our medical mission, and 33 water baptisms, and incredibly, this is just the beginning! Clean water, a church, and full-time pastor are now in this community. As discipleship groups continue, we know we will see an even greater harvest to come.

We are excited to announce that our Third Annual Foundations for Hope 5K will be held Saturday, October 19th. Come join us at the Trussville Entertainment District to walk, run, or relay while making a difference in the lives of others and impacting the Kingdom of God. We will have fun for the entire family, including face painting and activities for the kids, door prizes from local businesses, music, and refreshments. Â
July Newsletter
July has been a fantastic month and God continues to bless us in every area of this ministry! Work has continued in the Village of Apriki, Kenya, where crews have been on site this month constructing the new church and pastor house. The pastor house will allow the church pastor to live in, and serve, the village full time. While construction continues, our East Africa Team is in the village sharing the Good News of Jesus and providing discipleship to the community. The Discipleship Program is an important part of every new village Agape enters, and is designed to nurture a strong body of believers.

This month, drilling of a new borehole began in the village of Apriki, Kenya. We are pleased to announce that the drill team has successfully struck water, and work has begun on the freshwater well. Discipleship groups have been launched within the community, and soon construction on the church will begin.

May has been a busy month and we are excited to share all that God is doing through our team, mission opportunities, and building projects. Two key members have been added to our East Africa Team. We are pleased to introduce to you, Dorcas Chepkopus and Reverend Abel Opunga.

Construction of the Bible College continues to progress with roofs beginning on the administration building, library, lecture halls, and lecture housing. Substructure work has begun on the principal’s house, kitchen, dining areas, chapel, and church.

As we celebrate Easter Week, we remember the miracle of the cross, the forgiveness, healing, and freedom found there, and the salvation it offers. A gift, freely offered to each of us, was purchased at the highest cost.

This week our team, along with Life in Christ Church, located in Marion, Kentucky, is serving alongside Agape Fellowship Center, to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to Katalisha, Kenya. These missionaries will spend the week sharing the Gospel, worshiping, praying, and providing medical care to the community.
