October was a month full of reasons to celebrate! From our communities here stateside to the villages across East Africa, we have seen God’s faithfulness, provision, and the power of His people coming together on mission.
Running the Race Together
This month, we hosted both of our annual 5Ks in Kentucky and Trussville, and what a joy it was to see so many people come together for a purpose greater than the race itself! Hundreds of participants, families, businesses, and community members showed up in support of the mission. Through the generosity of our sponsors and involvement of these two communities, three villages will be planted next year! PRAISE GOD!
To our Kentucky and Trussville communities, thank you for showing up, running alongside us, and being part of what God is doing. Your involvement is helping enable change and spread the hope of Christ to communities across East Africa. We are so grateful for every person who played a part.
Looking Ahead to 2027
While we celebrate what God has done this October, preparations are already underway for what is ahead. Across East Africa, villages are being surveyed, local leaders are preparing, and our East Africa team is prayerfully working on the front lines of the mission.
The Lord has placed a vision on our hearts to plant 20 villages next year, and we are expectant for all that He will do! We know this work is made possible through the faithfulness of God, the leadership of local pastors, and the partnership of people who believe in advancing the Gospel. As we look toward the year ahead, we are reminded that every village represents more than a number. It represents people, families, churches, and communities who will have the opportunity to hear and experience the hope of Christ.
As we move into this next season, we invite you to join us in prayer. Please pray over the 20 villages we are believing to reach next year, that God would prepare the hearts of these communities and open doors for the Gospel. Cover our East Africa team and local ministry partners as they serve on the front lines, asking the Lord for wisdom, protection, strength, and provision as they survey villages and prepare for the work ahead.
God is so good, and His provision continues to be evident in every step of this process. October reminded us that the mission is not confined to one place or one group of people. Whether running a 5K in Kentucky, showing up in Trussville, or sharing the Gospel in a village in East Africa, we all have a part to play.
Thank you for being part of this mission. Together, we are enabling change and spreading hope!
