September Newsletter

Preparation for our first annual 5K is in full swing and we have been overwhelmed by the support received. Through generous sponsors, volunteers, and community, we have already raised the funds to provide clean water to an estimated 2,000 people! That is 2,000 lives that will be impacted with protection from disease, increased quality of life, and the good news that they are dearly loved children, with the hope of salvation through Jesus Christ. It is amazing that together, by answering the call to be the hands and feet of Jesus, we can make this kind of impact. But we are not stopping there! We still have one month until race day and you can help make an even greater impact. You can help by signing up to participate, donate, or volunteer below. You can also help us get the word out by sharing this with your friends and neighbors. We can’t wait to see you on race day!

Agape Fellowship Center – Kenya

Construction has been under way on the newest church plant in Kakamega, Kenya. This location will officially launch October 2nd! While crews have been busy with construction of the church building, our partners at Agape Fellowship have been building relationships in the community. When a church is launched, the community is not only provided a church building, but God’s Word is provided through bibles, biblical teaching, and spiritual support. Life giving community is nurtured and hope is provided. Five new churches, including this location, were made possible through your generosity and support for 2022.

Funding for next year’s church planting program is already under way and we need your support. For information on our progress and how you can be a part of this effort, visit the link below:

The Vine School – Petit – Goave, Haiti

Opening of The Vine for the 2022-23 school year is still delayed due to the crisis facing the Haitian people. The Haitian Ministry of Education is currently delaying all school openings due to concerns of rising fuel and supply costs. Travel is becoming more dangerous as protests and gang warfare continue to escalate. Our brothers and sisters in Haiti and at The Vine need your prayers as the concerns over food, fuel, and safety continue to deepen. Officials this week described the situation as a “humanitarian catastrophe.” Places of hope, such as The Vine, are of even greater importance in these times. We believe John 1:4-5, which says, “In Him was life, and the life was the Light of all mankind. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” Please keep our brothers and sisters in your prayers as they face these difficult times. We ask that you pray for their protection and provision, and that the Lord will bless them in such a way that they will shine as bright lights during these dark times.

Blessings,
The F4H Team
