October Newsletter

The first annual Foundations for Hope 5K is in the books and it was a huge success! We are excited to announce that through this event, the life changing resource of clean water will be provided to 10 new villages where thousands of lives will be impacted by the Gospel!

Not only were we able to exceed our goals in the funding of new wells, but the community came together to bring awareness to an amazing cause. Runners in our Jerry Can Relay carried up to 43 pounds of water over three miles to bring awareness to the challenges women in Africa face daily. Runners of all ages and skill levels ran their race well, and families came to walk the course together. It was a great day, and we cannot wait for next year!

We want to thank each of our sponsors, volunteers, and all who participated on race day. We have witnessed the Lord take the resources, talents, and time of each participant and multiply them into something amazing! Below are just a few images from the race that we hope you will enjoy!

A special thank you to our sponsors: Engineering Design Group, Fluid Solutions, Caddell Construction, Southern Grain Woodworks, SPOC Automation, The Prewitt Group, First Baptist Church Trussville, 4Africa, Voight-Abernathy, Southern Outdoor Design, A+ Tire & Auto Repair, and M3 Endeavors.

Missed race day but still want to be a part of the mission of Foundations for Hope? You can check out all of our current projects and giving opportunities by clicking the button below!

Partner Updates

Agape Fellowship Center—Kenya
Construction of the new church plant in Kakamega Kenya is complete and the church has launched! More details to come from our mission partner, Bishop Evans Achanga of AFC.

The Vine School—Petit-Goave, Haiti
Opening of The Vine for the 2022-23 school year is still delayed due to social unrest, rapidly rising fuel and supply costs, as well as safety concerns. As we continue to pray for reopening, we are also working on remote learning opportunities for students at the Vine.

The Christian Resource Center—Ngora, Uganda
Rev. Odi continues to travel across East Africa equipping disciples for ministry. He most recently traveled to Malawi to dedicate a facility that will house both a church and a training facility for rural pastors.

Blessings,
The F4H Team
