As September comes to an end, we look back at all God has done this month with gratitude and awe. We serve an awesome God! Our mission team is back from Kenya and the individual stories of life change are nothing short of miraculous. We are unable to share each individual story, but we are honored to report the miracle of life, as well as hope, that was seen in Apriki. During our week in Apriki, we witnessed 863 recorded salvations, 1442 people treated through our medical mission, and 33 water baptisms, and incredibly, this is just the beginning! Clean water, a church, and full-time pastor are now in this community. As discipleship groups continue, we know we will see an even greater harvest to come. We serve an amazing God who is still doing miracles and saving lives, and in Apriki, we were given a front row seat to His love in action. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside our church family at Agape Fellowship Center. Please continue to pray for this community of believers and the work that is still ongoing.
Our Foundations for Hope 5K is less than a month away. If you have not already signed up to join us on October 19th, please consider doing so today. The race will begin at 8am in the Trussville Entertainment District. You can spend the morning with us, walking, running, joining our team relay, or volunteering. We will have a kids zone this year offering face painting, crafts, and balloons from Pump It Up Trussville. Race day will also include music, refreshments, giveaways, and special race day discounts at select Trussville merchants! In addition, each person who signs up to participate will receive a race day t-shirt, and finishers will receive a race medal!
