EQUIPPING CHRISTIAN LEADERS, EMPOWERING THE LOCAL CHURCH,
PROVIDING CRITICAL RESOURCES, AND INVESTING IN INDIVIDUALS
"The Lord knows where this is headed. Our job is to listen and go."
Randy is an Alabama native, and currently resides in Trussville. He and his wife have three sons and attend Trussville First Baptist Church.
After founding American Fire Protection in 2004, Randy oversaw international construction projects in more than 100 countries. As he became adept at navigating the unique challenges of international construction, the Lord placed it on his heart to utilize his skills for the benefit of the local church and its people in challenged areas throughout the world. Since that time, Randy has served alongside multiple ministries in Haiti, Peru, and Kenya. This work and calling ultimately led to the launch of Foundations for Hope.

Matt was born in Birmingham, AL and raised in Pinson, AL. At the young age of ten, he made a profession of faith and was subsequently baptized. He attended The University of Alabama Birmingham and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Distribution. Matt met his better half during college, and the two have now been married for 22 years. They have three wonderful children, ages 18, 16, and 15.
Matt has been a member at First Baptist Church in Trussville for over 20 years. He has served as Chair of the Finance Committee, on the Building Committee, on the Personnel Committee, and has been leading an adult small group for the last ten years. Matt’s early career exposed him not only to international travel, but also to the unique logistical challenges that accompany overseeing international projects. It was during this time, God placed a desire in Matt’s heart to serve others and spread the word of Christ through international missions.
