This month Foundations for Hope has been busy with preparations for three new freshwater wells in the villages of Kivula, Lomajanita, and Namusia. We are also beginning the construction of two new churches during the month of December. With the Lord’s help, these projects will be completed in time for our upcoming mission trip in February.  In addition, campus construction and staff placement are almost complete at the site of the Jesus Harvesters Agape Bible College. This next month, we will begin the review and acceptance process for our first class of future pastors.Â
As we have shared in the past, one of the greatest obstacles the church in East Africa faces, is the need for formally educated pastors. The Jesus Harvesters Agape Bible College will provide a wholistic approach to biblical and leadership training so pastors can successfully enter their calling.
On Tuesday, December 3rd, we will participate in Giving Tuesday. During this time, we hope to scholarship as many pastors in our first class of students as possible. Pastors complete their training through either a one-year certificate or two-year diploma program. For two thousand dollars a year, we can fully support a pastor’s education, housing, and nutrition.
This year for Giving Tuesday, we ask that you prayerfully consider joining us as we seek to scholarship as many pastors as possible. You can support these pastors, at any level you feel led, and can do so through a one-time or monthly donation. One hundred percent of every donation given through the link below, now through Tuesday December 3rd, will be given directly to these scholarship efforts.Â
God has truly blessed us all, and as we enter this holiday season, we do so with gratitude for all God has done, while eager and expectant for all that is ahead. May He bless you in this season, and Merry Christmas from all of us at Foundations for Hope.Â
Blessings,
F4H Team
