Because of your prayers and generosity, the Kingdom of God is advancing in powerful ways. We kicked off this month with a life changing mission trip, and we are celebrating what God has done in East Africa.

As this year comes to a close, our hearts are full as we reflect on the many ways our awesome God has faithfully fulfilled His promises. Through your partnership and generous giving, over 2,500 people came to know Jesus, more than 6,700 received medical care, churches were planted, clean water wells were drilled, and pastors are being trained to reach East Africa for generations to come.
November Newsletter
This past weekend, we witnessed the goodness and faithfulness of God in East Africa. Early Saturday morning, drilling began on a new borehole, and the team worked faithfully throughout the day. Drilling continued smoothly until they reached the full depth of 200 meters! The community is expected to receive a substantial supply of clean water once the borehole is fully tested and equipped. Meetings were held with the Water User Committee to discuss stewardship and next steps, and the area chief visited the site to encourage community involvement. Completion is near, and God’s faithfulness is evident!

October overflowed with gratitude, connection, and God’s goodness! We’re so thankful for all that He’s doing both here at home and in Africa. Each moment this month reminded us of God’s faithfulness and how He moves through community and unity in Christ.

September has been a month full of fellowship, joy, goodness and His awesome wonders. His faithfulness is always abundant and His plan is always prosperous and we have witnessed it! Change is being enabled and the hope of Christ is being spread throughout East Africa.

August has been an exciting month. As summer comes to a close, we are reflecting on all God is doing to advance his Kingdom, in just one short month! He is forever steadfast and faithful, and His goodness is evident.

The Jesus Harvesters Agape Bible College has officially been dedicated, and the ceremony to commemorate it’s opening was described by our Founder, Randy Treglown, as “A spiritual milestone,” and “a visible answer to years of prayer, sacrifice, vision, and obedience”. We were honored to be part of this day.

We are excited to announce that registration is now open for both 2025 Foundations for Hope 5K’s, and we cannot wait to see you in Lexington and Trussville!
Our First Annual F4H-5K, in Lexington Kentucky, will be held Saturday, September 20th, at the Kentucky Horse Park. This beautiful venue will allow runners to complete a timed, 5K course, while seeing the scenic horse park. We are grateful to Gray Construction for hosting this event and helping us to expand what God is doing through Foundations for Hope.

The 2025 College Mission Trip is currently underway, and we have already received miraculous reports from Kenya. The twenty-four students and leaders currently in Kenya, have spent long, but joy filled days, serving the community surrounding the new Bible College, it’s students, and staff. The students have also traveled to Kiminini, where they have served the community of an existing Agape Fellowship Church
April Newsletter
The 2025 Pastors Retreat is in the books, and we are proud to announce that from the reports received, it was a tremendous success! During the four-day retreat, 116 delegates gathered from 63 Agape churches throughout Kenya and Tanzania. This year’s theme was “Growing the Local Church”, with Bishop Achanga, teaching from the example of the early church and it’s ability to grow both spiritually and numerically. Bishop Evans Achanga, along with other leadership, was able to speak on topics regarding church organization and growth, as well as topics to build and encourage leaders personally. The time spent together learning, praying, and looking to the future, was time invested in equipping these leaders, but will continue to produce fruit as they invest in individuals within their communities and church bodies.
