This week our team, along with Life in Christ Church, located in Marion, Kentucky, is serving alongside Agape Fellowship Center, to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to Katalisha, Kenya. These missionaries will spend the week sharing the Gospel, worshiping, praying, and providing medical care to the community.

We are excited to share with you some of the many ways we have seen God move here, at Foundations for Hope, this month. To begin, our team is growing! We are happy to introduce our newest F4H East Africa, team member, Stephen Mukongolo. Stephen will serve as our Discipleship Coordinator, overseeing the launch and implementation of the Discipleship Program, within each village and church that we serve.

This month, The Vine, began it’s 2023-24 school year, with 415 students. We know God has a purpose for each of these lives, and we are grateful to be a part of their journey. Please join us in praying for each student and staff member. We believe this school year will have an eternal impact for generations to come.

During the month of August, our leadership traveled to Kenya, to attend the Agape Fellowship Leadership Summit. The Summit was attended by 363 leaders, representing 58 different Agape churches. During this time, pastors were able to spend time together, and be ministered to, all while receiving fresh vision for their church’s future.

This past month we were honored to welcome Bishop Evans Achanga and Pastor Simon Wesanza, from Kenya. These Agape leaders came together with thousands of pastors, from all over the world, to attend the Grow Leader Conference, hosted by Church of the Highlands.

We are excited to share with you some of what happened in June at Foundations for Hope! Last month, we shared that our team was preparing to travel to Kenya, with 24 college students and leaders. This team had big plans, and great hope, for all that would be accomplished on this trip, and the Lord exceeded them all!
