October overflowed with gratitude, connection, and God’s goodness! We’re so thankful for all that He’s doing both here at home and in Africa. Each moment this month reminded us of God’s faithfulness and how He moves through community and unity in Christ.
Nearly 350 community members gathered for the Trussville 5K!
The morning was filled with laughter, encouragement, and energy as families, friends, and churches came together to run (or walk!) in support of mission work across Africa. Seeing our Birmingham community join His mission was evidence if His good will and faithfulness. You are the hands and feet of helping bring the message of Jesus to those who have never heard His name. We’re deeply grateful to everyone who participated, volunteered, and cheered.
“Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.” Hebrews 12:1-2
In Ompolion, people are gathering weekly to study the Word and grow deeper in faith!
While we celebrated community here, amazing things are happening across Africa through discipleship. These small groups have become powerful spaces of transformation and the result is incredible! Salvations and lives forever changed through Jesus. What a reason to celebrate! Each new believer reminds us of the Great Commission and His calling on each of our lives.
As we look ahead, we ask you to continue praying for the church in Africa , that God would strengthen His people, open more hearts, and continue to move powerfully through every discipleship group.
Colossians 2:6–7 “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.”
