January Newsletter

Because of your prayers and generosity, the Kingdom of God is advancing in powerful ways. We kicked off this month with a life changing mission trip, and we are celebrating what God has done in East Africa.

Kawala Medical Mission Trip

Through medical outreaches and gospel counseling, communities heard the message of Jesus and received care for their physical and spiritual needs.

Total Impact Over 5 Days:

Kawala
• 901 medical treatments
• 453 salvations

Nguni
• 1,004 medical treatments
• 224 salvations

Praise God for 677 salvations!  Because of your support, the amazing missions team, and the Good News, more people will spend eternity in Heaven!

Salvation to Discipleship

After so many gave their lives to Christ, discipleship groups gathered to begin walking with new believers. These groups are preparing to continue ministering, teaching, and strengthening those who have now decided to follow Jesus so their faith takes deep root.

The Bible College

Students are back at the Jesus Harvesters Agape Bible College, and one group is now completing their final semester. That means we will celebrate a graduating class this spring!

Registration is open for the next class, and we are praying God will draw students who will go on to change their communities and the world for His glory.

Leadership Summit

This month, leaders from across Agape Fellowship Center and the Foundations for Hope U.S. and East Africa teams are coming together for the Leadership Summit, a strategic and Spirit led time focused on strengthening the mission God has entrusted to us.

These gatherings are more than meetings. They are moments to pause, pray, and seek God’s direction for the future of Foundations for Hope. Leaders are aligning vision, sharing wisdom, and preparing for the next season of ministry across East Africa.

David Kipkoech Rotich: Construction Manager

We are delighted to welcome David Kipkoech Rotich to Foundations for Hope! David serves as our Construction Manager for F4H East Africa and is a Registered Engineer with the Engineers Registration Board of Kenya. With more than 13 years of experience, David brings both professional excellence and a heart for ministry to our growing projects.

David provides leadership in planning, budgeting, Bills of Quantities, and site supervision to ensure every project is completed with quality, accountability, and sustainability. His work supports church buildings, ministry facilities, and borehole projects; helping expand access to clean water and create healthier communities.

David views engineering as a calling and is passionate about using his skills to serve God’s mission. He is married to Lilian and is the proud father of four children: Armstrong, Jayden, Javan, and Hadassah. We are excited to have David partnering with us as we continue building hope across East Africa!

Geoffrey Ouma Okoko: Missions & Discipleship Leader

We are honored to welcome Geoffrey Ouma Okoko to the Foundations for Hope family! Geoffrey is a seasoned disciple maker and missions leader with more than 30 years of ministry experience across Africa and beyond. He is a devoted husband to his wife, Trezzer Ouma, and a proud father of five, and his family continues to be a source of joy and strength in his calling.

Geoffrey began his ministry journey in 1989 as a Youth Leader, where God shaped his heart for leadership and discipleship. After completing Bible and Theology training at KAG University, he served in pastoral ministry at International Christian Centre Nairobi and later received leadership training through Finish the Task. Along the way, God expanded his vision for reaching unreached communities across East Africa, the Horn of Africa, and beyond.

With advanced training in Disciple Making Movements, Geoffrey is passionate about seeing disciples who make disciples and churches that plant churches. Through F4H, he now serves communities in Pokot, Turkana, Baringo, Eastern Kenya, Maasai regions, and more, raising Christ centered leaders who will transform families and communities for God’s glory. We are grateful to have Geoffrey serving alongside us!

As we move forward, our hearts are full of joy for what God is doing through Foundations for Hope. Because of your prayers and generosity, hope is rising in villages, leaders are being equipped, and lives are being changed for eternity.

We are seeing the fruit of faithful partnership: the sick are cared for, the lost are found, and the Gospel is advancing in powerful ways across East Africa. And this is only the beginning of what God has in store.

Thank you for being part of this mission and for helping carry the hope of Jesus to the nations.

“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.” Ephesians 3:20

Blessings,

F4H Team
