We are excited to announce that our Third Annual Foundations for Hope 5K will be held Saturday, October 19th. Come join us at the Trussville Entertainment District to walk, run, or relay while making a difference in the lives of others and impacting the Kingdom of God. We will have fun for the entire family, including face painting and activities for the kids, door prizes from local businesses, music, and refreshments.
The goal of the Foundations for Hope 5K is to Advance the Gospel by empowering the local church, investing in individuals, providing critical resources, and equipping Christian leaders.
Last year, because of your participation and generosity, seven villages are receiving fresh water. One of those wells will be dedicated and opened this week in the village of Apriki, Kenya. Currently, a mission team from the U.S. is on the ground in Apriki, working alongside members of Agape Fellowship Center to serve the village. The people of Apriki will be eternally impacted this week, as we see Jesus bring life to a community, water to the thirsty, healing to the sick, and salvation to the lost. We get the honor, along with you, of being His hands and feet in this effort. We look forward to sharing the details from our Apriki mission in our September Newsletter.
We have great expectations for what God will do in Apriki and ask that you pray over the team and community this week. We also ask that you consider joining us this year for the Foundations for Hope 5K and be part of a generation being changed by the love of Jesus.
