April Newsletter

April was a remarkable month for Foundations for Hope. We continue to stand in awe of the Lord’s blessings and His constant faithfulness over this ministry. His authority and provision have been evident in every step.

JHA Bible College

We are thrilled to share that Jesus Harvesters Agape Bible College has officially received accreditation through ACTEA and TVETA. This is a significant milestone, and we are deeply grateful for your prayers and support that helped make this possible. Praise the Lord!

In addition, members of our U.S. team and team members of Agape, have been faithfully curating a pastoral playbook designed to empower and equip our pastors as they lead the local church. We are excited to share that this playbook was officially launched this month and was met with great enthusiasm and encouragement. His word is good and we are so thankful for pastors equipped and eager to share God’s word!

Agape Fellowship Events

Throughout the month, several impactful Agape Fellowship events took place, including the Pastors and Wives Retreat where 102 Agape Churches were represented. The playbook was introduced to these pastors and it was a great success. We continually see God provide ways we can help empower and equip the local church. His provision and faithfulness is evident.

We also honor the Women Weep Not Retreat, lead by Mellen Achanga. We received an encouraging report from the gathering, which brought together women from Pokot and Mt. Elgon. The ministry of the Word centered on the theme, “You Excel Them All” from Proverbs 31:29. The speakers were powerfully used by God, teaching on what it means to be a virtuous woman who excels spiritually, physically, and economically, as well as in the home. During the retreat, 10 women gave their lives to Christ, an incredible testimony of God’s work. On the final day, attendees were prayed over through the laying on of hands, and were filled with the Holy Spirit!

More will join us in Heaven

We are also excited to share growth within our construction efforts. Foundations for Hope is no longer outsourcing contractors, our projects are now fully managed in-house. Recently, David, our East Africa Construction Manager, and Lenny, our U.S. Critical Resource Manager, visited a project site in East Africa. While there, they shared the Gospel with the 25 workers present. As a result, two workers gave their lives to the Lord and have already begun learning and sharing His goodness. David and Lenny reported the site workers were in awe of the Lord’s ability to transform lives so instananiously.

This powerful move of the Holy Spirit has sparked a renewed passion within our East African team, not only to reach unreached people groups but also to share the Gospel with those they encounter every day. We are reminded that the mission is not limited to distant places; it is lived out daily in every interaction. Thank you for your continued prayers and partnership. We are honored to walk in this mission together.

Blessings,

F4H Team
