September has been a month full of fellowship, joy, goodness and His awesome wonders. His faithfulness is always abundant and His plan is always prosperous and we have witnessed it! Change is being enabled and the hope of Christ is being spread throughout East Africa.
Ompolion Mission Trip
Early this month, a group of spirit-filled men journeyed to East Africa to serve, to love, and to pour out their lives for the glory of Christ. Over their time, they medically served communities, proclaimed the gospel, celebrated the blessing of living water through a newly accessible well, and invested deeply in the future pastors of Africa.
“And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.” — Acts 4:31
We rejoice in the dedication of the Ompolion well and the miracle of salvation that overflowed from it. In just one month, 301 people gave their lives to Christ in this village! A new church is forming, and we ask you to join us in prayer for these believers, that the Holy Spirit would bring protection, sanctification, and steady growth to this young community of faith.
God has also poured out His blessing on the JHA Bible College in extraordinary ways. During this trip, the mission team poured wisdom, leadership, and Biblical truth into the lives of future pastors. Currently, just over 40 students are learning and growing spiritually, preparing to shepherd churches across East Africa. In addition, scholarships were presented through Church of the Highlands Legacy, ensuring that more pastors can continue their training. We are so grateful for this generosity and for the eternal fruit it will bear.
“For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.” — Isaiah 44:3 Africa is longing for well-prepared, Spirit-led pastors. Please continue to pray with us for these men—that they would rise up equipped to carry the knowledge of Christ, to shepherd His people, and to share the eternal hope of Heaven.
Kentucky 5K
What a powerful first year at the Kentucky 5K! We are so grateful to Gray Construction for hosting, and all of our sponsors who helped make this event possible. Together, we honored the reality that women and children in Africa walk nearly 6 kilometers every day for water, while also supporting the mission the Lord placed on our hearts to provide safe, clean water to enable change and spread hope.

Mission Trip Reunion Night
To end this month, we gathered with past mission team members for a beautiful night of fellowship, testimonies, and worship. Together, we celebrated the miracles of God in East Africa and the ways those stories continue to inspire and shape our everyday missions here at home.
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses… to the ends of the earth.”— Acts 1:8
Our hearts were refreshed as we remembered His goodness and faithfulness, and we were reminded that the same Spirit who worked mightily in Africa continues to lead us daily in America.
