The 2025 College Mission Trip is currently underway, and we have already received miraculous reports from Kenya. The twenty-four students and leaders currently in Kenya, have spent long, but joy filled days, serving the community surrounding the new Bible College, it’s students, and staff. The students have also traveled to Kiminini, where they have served the community of an existing Agape Fellowship Church.
In the community surrounding the Bible College, our students have spent their time building two separate houses for community members in need, hosted evangelism events, and made house to house visits. We believe that by serving our neighbors in these early days of the college, the students are helping to set the standard, of our calling as believers, to live an open-handed, open-hearted life, in service to others, while proclaiming God’s love and truth to the world around us.
In the village of Kiminini, the students have been able to support the existing Agape Fellowship Center Church, by hosting evangelism events in town, visiting and praying with community members through door-to-door evangelism, and hosting a much needed medical mission at the church. Through these events, lives are being changed. We talk a lot about changed lives, but it is true, these students are making a lasting change in the lives of those who desperately need what they can give. Lives are not only changed in Kenya, but here at home. One student on the trip shared with us the following:
“During this trip I am experiencing is a lifetime lesson, it’s showing me to trust Him more, and allowing me to be pushed out of my comfort zone, to obey what He has called me to do. I believe with all my heart that these experiences will shape me into who He has called me to be. To the ends of the earth, I will praise His Name”. -Callie Ann Armstrong
Our team in Kenya, has recorded 526 salvations! In less than a week, this team has provided homes to the homeless, medicine to the sick, hope to the hopeless, and helped make Heaven a bigger place. Callie Ann is right, there is something that changes forever when you choose to leave your comfort zone and step obediently in the direction of His calling. As you do, nothing short of the miraculous is what you find. Our God is great, and we celebrate with all of heaven over these new believers and changed lives.
These students and leaders will be traveling home June 1st, we ask that you continue to keep them in your prayers as they travel, and as they come home; forever changed themselves. Thank you for your prayers and your generosity, you are a part of all that God is doing in these lives.
Foundations for Hope 5K
We are excited to announce not one, but TWO Foundations for Hope 5K’s that will be happening this fall!
Our First Annual F4H-5K, in Lexington Kentucky, will be held Saturday, September 20th. We are grateful to Gray Construction for hosting this event and helping us to expand what God is doing through Foundations for Hope.
We will hold our Fourth Annual F4H-5K, in Trussville, Alabama, on Saturday, October 25th, at the Trussville Entertainment District.
