Our Four Strategic Pillars
Our four strategic pillars of service provide the ability to replicate, scale, and sustain the mission of advancing the Gospel.
Equipping Christian Leaders
“The church is not prepared or equipped for this great movement.”

Foundations for Hope believes the local Christian Church is God’s chosen vessel to spread the Gospel throughout the world.
Africa is home to the world’s largest Christian movement:
- 1.3 billion people total
- 400 million who have not yet heard the name of Jesus
In response to this great need, Foundations for Hope has partnered with Agape Fellowship Center to build Pastor Training Facilities across East Africa.
Our mission is to provide biblical education that equips pastors and Christian leaders to fulfill the Great Commission—spreading the Gospel and sharing the love and hope of Jesus Christ.

Empowering the Local Church
We believe that the local church is best positioned to minister to their communities in relevant and meaningful ways, and our role is to help provide leadership and resources to meet their needs.

Foundations for Hope believes that starting new churches is one of the best ways to share the love of Jesus.
Local churches help people:
- Learn God’s Word
- Grow as disciples
- Build strong, lasting Christian communities
While church planting is our main focus, we also support local leaders in other ways as they share challenges and opportunities in their areas.

Providing Critical Resources
Access to clean water is vital to the wellness of any community, and developing clean water wells is at the heart of our desire to meet both the spiritual and physical needs of those we serve.

- 785 million people lack access to basic drinking water.
- 144 million rely on unsafe surface water.
- 2 billion people use water contaminated with feces.
Contaminated water causes diseases like diarrhea, cholera, dysentery, typhoid, and polio.
In developing countries:
- 22% of healthcare facilities have no water service.
- 21% have no sanitation.
- 22% lack waste management.

Investing In Individuals
We believe each individual is valuable to God and created with a unique purpose. For this reason, we work to invest in each person within the communities we serve.

At Foundations for Hope, we focus on the areas of discipleship, health, education, and sanitation to strengthen the individual.
By using a focused discipleship plan, which includes a scalable volunteer ministry, our goal is to help each person understand their value and role within God’s Kingdom.
In addition to investing in the spiritual health of those we serve, as we enter a village, we will provide medical attention while implementing an education and sanitation plan.
